Account Registration

To access creator features, you must register for an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password and for all activities that occur under your account.

Permitted Use

You may use the Service to discover and listen to publicly available podcasts, and, if approved as a creator, to publish and manage your podcast content through the Creator Studio. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

Creator Responsibilities

• You are responsible for all content you submit, publish, or distribute through the Service.
• You must have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for your content, including music, artwork, guest contributions, and any third-party material.
• You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• You must not submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, harassing, or otherwise harmful.
• You are responsible for maintaining accurate show metadata and ensuring your RSS feeds remain operational.

Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to violate any law or regulation.
• Infringe the intellectual property rights or privacy of others.
• Submit malware, viruses, or other malicious code.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service.
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Service without authorization.
• Use the Service to send unsolicited communications.

Ownership of Creator Content

You retain all ownership rights in the original podcast content you create and submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant Culture Signal a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, distribute, display, and promote your content on the platform and through podcast directories, as further described in the Creator Membership Agreement.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, software, branding, and original features, is owned by Culture Signal Media and protected by intellectual property laws. Except for your own content, nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to the Service's intellectual property.

Podcast Distribution

Culture Signal facilitates distribution of approved podcast content to podcast directories and platforms. We do not guarantee placement, availability, or performance on any specific directory or platform. Distribution availability depends on third-party platform policies.

Paid Memberships

Payment Authorization

When you purchase a creator membership, you authorize our payment provider to charge the selected payment method for the membership fees. Membership pricing is displayed on the membership page.

Free Trials

If a plan includes a free trial, you will not be charged during the trial period. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your membership automatically converts to the selected plan and your payment method is charged. See our Billing & Cancellation Policy for details.

Renewal

Memberships automatically renew at the displayed price and billing cycle until canceled by you. You may cancel at any time.

Account Suspension

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms, fail to pay membership fees, or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to the platform or its users.

Cancellation

You may cancel your membership at any time through your account or by contacting us. For details on cancellation behavior, see our Billing & Cancellation Policy.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain the Service's availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice. We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or service interruptions.

The Service may integrate with third-party platforms, including podcast hosting providers and directory services. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or behavior of third-party services.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Culture Signal Media shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Service.

Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify creators of material changes through the platform or via email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
