Creator Membership Agreement

Last updated: September 18, 2026

This Creator Membership Agreement ("Agreement") describes the relationship between you ("Creator") and Culture Signal Media ("Culture Signal," "we," or "us") when you join the Culture Signal Podcast Network as a creator member.

Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of all original podcast content you create and publish through the platform, including episodes, show notes, and artwork that you originally create.

License to Culture Signal

By submitting content to the platform, you grant Culture Signal a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, distribute, display, and promote your approved content on the Culture Signal Podcast Network and through podcast directories and partner platforms. This license is limited to the purposes of operating, distributing, and marketing the network and your show. It does not transfer ownership of your content.

Creator Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for securing all rights and permissions for music, artwork, guest contributions, clips, and any other media included in your content.
  • You must ensure your content does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.
  • You must provide accurate show metadata and keep your RSS feeds and hosting operational.
  • You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Network Standards

Culture Signal is a curated creator network. We may establish and enforce editorial, quality, safety, and technical standards for content published on the network. We reserve the right to review, approve, request changes to, or decline content that does not meet these standards.

Distribution Expectations

Culture Signal facilitates distribution of approved content to podcast directories including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and other platforms. We do not guarantee specific placement, ranking, or availability on any platform, as these are controlled by third-party services.

Sponsorship and Monetization

Depending on your membership plan, you may be eligible for network sponsorship, advertising, and monetization opportunities. Eligibility does not guarantee specific opportunities, and participation is subject to separate terms as applicable.

Membership and Payment Obligations

To maintain active creator access, you must maintain an active membership in good standing. Membership fees, billing, and cancellation are described in our Billing & Cancellation Policy and Terms of Service.

Content Removal

You may request removal of your content from the platform at any time. Culture Signal may also remove content that violates these terms, network standards, or applicable law. Some content may remain available on third-party directories after removal from the network, as distribution is managed by external platforms.

Cancellation

You may cancel your membership at any time. Upon cancellation, your Creator Studio access and hosting privileges will be affected as described in our Billing & Cancellation Policy.

Export and Migration

If available, you may export your show metadata and episode information. Audio files hosted by your podcast hosting provider remain subject to that provider's terms. Culture Signal will reasonably cooperate with migration to another hosting provider upon request.

Termination

Either party may terminate this Agreement by canceling the membership. Culture Signal may terminate this Agreement immediately if you violate these terms, network standards, or applicable law.
